The
Award of Excellence
The
highest honour given to alumni of Osgoode Hall Law School,
the Award of Excellence was first awarded in 1983. The
award honours Osgoode Hall Law School alumni whose outstanding
careers have brought distinction to the profession and
to the Law School. The Robinette Medal, sculpted by
Kenneth Jarvis, is named after the first recipient of
the Award of Excellence.

The
Board of Directors of Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni
Association has created an award known as the Osgoode
Hall Law School Alumni Award to honour outstanding alumni
who have made contributions to the Law School.

The
Dianne Martin Medal for Social Justice Through Law
Dianne Martin (1945-2004) graduated from Osgoode Hall
Law School in 1976 and went on to become one of Canada’s
first leading female criminal lawyers.
This
medal will be awarded to a member of the Canadian legal
community who has exemplified Dianne’s commitment
to law as an instrument for achieving social justice
and fairness.
