The
Class of 1972 celebrated their 30th reunion in the midst
of the splendour and tradition of Convocation Hall at
Old Osgoode. Members of the class came from across the
country and around the world to attend the event. Art
Vertlieb, Glenn Sigurdson, Cliff Shannon and Joe Weiler
came in from Vancouver, John Restall from Winnipeg and
Julius Fleischer from mysterious parts unknown.
Earlier that day at Homecoming members of the class
presented Dean Peter Hogg with a cheque for $72,000
to establish the Class of 1972 Bursary. They also applauded
their friend Art Vertlieb when he was presented with
an Alumni Gold Key Award for his outstanding service
to the Alumni Association.
