Art
Vertlieb graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1972
and went on to a distinguished career as a trial lawyer
in British Columbia. He has demonstrated a tremendous
commitment to both the legal profession and Osgoode Hall
Law School. He has been awarded numerous distinctions
including election as a Bencher for the Law Society of
British Columbia and was selected as a recipient of the
Alumni Gold Key Award in 2002.
He has generously donated this award to assist an individual
who has the ability and commitment for a career in law
but lacks some of the financial resources. The award will
be given to assist a student from British Columbia who
has demonstrated leadership through extra-curricular activities,
has financial need and good academic standing.
