have made a commitment to support the School and the
Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP).

E. Holland Award
Osgoode Hall Law School is proud to announce the establishment
of a new student award in memory of The Honourable Richard
E. Holland
Obiter
Dicta Student Bursary
Through a generous donation, the staff of the Obiter
Dicta, Osgoode Hall Law School’s student newspaper,
hasestablished a new student bursary at the Law School.
The
J. Edward (Ted) Thompson, Q.C. Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship has been established in memory of Ted
Thompson by his friends and colleagues. Ted attended
Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in the Class of
74. Following graduation, he had a long and distinguished
career with the Department of Justice, initially as
a criminal prosecutor and civil litigator, and ultimately
as Assistant Deputy Minister, Business Law.
The
Brian Little Award
Brian was a brilliant student and a tremendous hockey
player who led the Osgoode Owls to many big wins. After
graduating from Osgoode in 1974, Brian studied at the
London School of Economics and received his Master of
Laws.
Peter
W. Hogg Graduate Award
Osgoode establishes the Peter W. Hogg Graduate Award
Albert
Weisbrot, Q.C. Student Awards
Al Weisbrot graduated from Osgoode Hall in 1959 and
went on to a distinguished career in family law.

Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP
On October 18, 2001 Dean Peter W. Hogg hosted a reception
at Osgoode Hall Law School to celebrate the opening
of the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Classroom, made
possible through a donation from the law firm's Legal
Education Endowment Program.
Law Library Bursaries
Balour Halévy, Law Librarian at Osgoode from
1967 to 1999, has generously endowed a bursary fund
to support LLB students at the Law School, and honour
the dedication of talented library staff.
