I
chose Osgoode "because it had a distinguished
reputation as one of Canada's leading law schools and
seemed to have a very progressive curriculum."
The highlight of my experience "There are
many highlights of my years at Osgoode. Working for
a term (and two summers) at Parkdale Community Legal
Services was transformative. Being taught by professors
like Gerald LeDain and Harry Arthurs was memorable.
I also had alot of fun and made some great friends."
What I learned "equipped me for what has
been a deeply satisfying career as a lawyer and, more
recently, a judge. But if I had never practised law,
I would still be grateful for the legal education I
received because the discipline is widely applicable."
