I
chose Osgoode "because they admitted me to
their program. It's as simple as that!"
The highlight of my experience "included
top-notch faculty; the wonderful diversity of people,
viewpoints and ideas; the non-elitist openness to vigorous
discourse that pervaded at the law school; and the fact
that while Osgoode took legal studies seriously, it
never took itself too seriously."
What I learned "That a law school could
be tremendously accommodating and supportive to me as
a blind student, could maintain exacting standards that
called on me to do my best, and could put a real human
face on legal studies, which makes law studies challenging
and interesting without being tedious or stultifying."
